Dr. Franczuszki is one of the most distinguished veterinary orthopedic surgeons in the state, and has earned his stellar reputation by successfully performing thousands of even the most complicated veterinary orthopedic procedures. He has extensive training in veterinary orthopedics and neurosurgery and he is certified in knee and hip replacement surgery.
After completing his formal veterinary education at Ludwig Maximillians University in Munich, Germany, he completed an internship and surgical residency at the same institution, where he was also asked to serve as Assistant Professor of Veterinary Surgery. After receiving his accreditation in veterinary surgery in Germany, he came to the United States with his family and completed his second surgical residency at Kansas State University. Dr. Franczuszki was awarded the Master of Science degree in small animal surgery from KSU in 1986.
Dr. Franczuszki practices in the Malvern area for over twenty five years. He first came to this area in the mid-1980s to work with Dr. Lincoln Parkes and join the surgical staff of Veterinary Orthopedic Services, Ltd. (VOS). In 1989, he took ownership of that veterinary hospital which has been offering exemplary services to the community since 1974.
Dr. Franczuszki is an active member of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society and the American Veterinary Orthopedic Research and Education (AVORE) Association. In addition, Dr. Franczuszki is the President of the Eastern Veterinary Orthopedic Society (EVOS). His practice is strictly limited to orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery in small animals.
