Dr. Brady Beale is a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist and Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology. She joins us from a bustling practice in Northern Virginia and is originally from Baltimore and Annapolis.
Dr. Beale completed a 3-year residency in comparative ophthalmology at North Carolina State University. Prior to that, she received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she also completed a year as an intern in medicine and surgery. She attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies. Dr Beale has also interned at numerous animal care facilities including the New England Aquarium and Baltimore Zoo. VRC Ophthalmology opens in August and will be available Monday through Thursday for appointments and surgery, as well as after-hours for consultation through the emergency department. The majority of ophthalmic diseases can be managed medically, but If surgery is necessary, the department is equipped with new, state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring, operating microscope and lasers, and the most advanced cataract machine in the area. Dr. Beale will make sure that you understand your options and will work closely with your referring veterinarian to find the best treatment for you and your pet. |
