Dr.
Hilton
is originally from Florida and, for her undergraduate
studies, she attended the University of Pennsylvania where
she double majored in biology and history. She then
continued on to graduate from veterinary school at Penn in
2005. Since 1995, both prior to and during vet school, Anna
was a nurse in the emergency service at Penn. By nursing in
a service that sees over 1,000 cases a month, Dr. Hilton developed
exceptional triage, assessment and technical abilities --
invaluable skills that inform her performance as a doctor.Dr. Hilton has contributed to papers that have been published in the Journal of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and to abstracts that have been presented at the International Conference of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Her special interests include invasive monitoring and instrumentation of critically ill patients, feline urethral obstruction, electrolyte disturbances, Addison’s disease, nephrology, and endocrinology. |
